The purpose of the internship is to provide meaningful professional hands-on experience to students with proven academic performance and leadership potential.

Abbott’s worldwide business offers its interns an opportunity to work in a variety of fields, including:
• Business Systems Analysis
• Project Management
• Validation (testing)
• Workstation installation and support
• Help Desk support, Lotus Notes support
• Web/Application development

Skills/Experience Requirements

Basic Qualifications:
• Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Management Info Systems, Computer Science or an IT-related field.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a Permanent Basis without requiring sponsorship.
• Completed at least one year of college education before beginning internship.
• Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior work or internship in IT (necessary for ITPDP)
• Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
• On-campus leadership activities
• Member of university-sponsored or national IT
organization
• Strong technical depth

Education Requirements: Pursuing bachelor's degree
