On June 16, 2009, a group of Chicago area business owners met to learn how to use social media marketing to promote their businesses. This event was hosted by Christyn Freemon of Chicago Community Ventures.
Milt Haynes, Founder of Blacks Gone Geek presented a session on the social media marketing tools and techniques covered in the Online Community Start-up Guide.
Other presenters were Scot Scott, CEO of Biohertz and Keeana Barber of WDB Marketing.
